Over the course of the last seventeen years, Mr. Garrison has established a stellar record as a trial attorney in civil and criminal jury trials, trying over forty cases to verdict and bringing numerous others to settlement. His litigation practice focuses on the areas of Criminal Law, Civil Rights, Complex Business matters, and Personal Injury. Mr. Garrison has obtained numerous not guilty verdicts in criminal trials and has obtained many multi-million dollar civil verdicts and settlements. Mr. Garrison has also argued many criminal and civil appeals in State and Federal Courts throughout California. Notably, Mr. Garrison tried the published case of Grassilli v. Barr, et al. wherein he obtained the largest non-violent civil rights verdict in California history against the California Highway Patrol.

Mr. Garrison obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego. From 1995 to 2008, Mr. Garrison was a partner in the San Diego law firm of Garrison & McIinnis, LLP. In 2008, Mr. Garrison became Of Counsel with Teeple Hall, LLP.

Civil Rights: Grassilli v. Barr, et al. - Obtained a $4,505,522.00 jury verdict (including punitive damages) in a civil trial against California Highway Patrol Officers. Pre-trial offer - $0.00.

Business Litigation - Plaintiff: Dominguez v. Rodriguez - Obtained a $3.9 million jury verdict (including punitive damages) against the owners of Alberto's Mexican Restaurants in a fraud case. After trial, the case settled with the Plaintiffs assuming all assets of Alberto's. Pre-trial offer - $0.00.

Personal Injury: Belna v. Phleger - Obtained a $1.5 million settlement in a personal injury case after being retained six weeks before trial. Settlement offer to prior counsel - $0.00.

Business Litigation - Defense: Melluso v. Trump - Represented a business owner where a former manager claimed an ownership interest in a restaurant business. At trial, the jury found for the business owner and awarded the manager nothing. Pre-trial demand - $350,000.00.

Criminal Defense: Mr. Garrison has received numerous not guilty verdicts in criminal jury trials.
