Frederick “Fritz” Reich is a Senior Associate at Teeple Hall, LLP and has worked at the Firm since 2013.  With more than 29 years of courtroom experience, Mr. Reich has a broad background litigating business disputes, contract actions, employment claims, personal injury suits, real property disputes, criminal defense, civil forfeitures and appeals.

 

In his role as Senior Associate at the Firm, Mr. Reich focuses on civil litigation matters, including contract actions, real property disputes, business matters, collections, personal injury and employment claims, for a diverse set of clients. Mr. Reich approaches his role as litigator in a methodical and tenacious, yet pragmatic manner dedicated to negotiating and achieving ground-breaking results.

 

Mr. Reich is admitted to practice law in the State of California, the United States Supreme Court, the District Court, Southern District of California, the District Court, Central District of California, Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, and the United States Court of Federal Claims. In addition, Mr. Reich has been admitted pro hac vice in more than 20 jurisdictions throughout the country.

 

Mr. Reich earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Minnesota (1988) and a Juris Doctorate from the California Western School of Law (1991).

Practice Groups
Representative Matters
  • Represented the managers of an operating limited liability company in complex litigation fraud case involving more half dozen parties and three cross complaints in which Mr. Reich obtained a favorable judgement against one of the members for fraud.

 

  • Represented a client on a breach of contract claim in which Mr. Reich obtained a favorable defense verdict and successfully defended the verdict on appeal.

 

  • Obtained a binding arbitration award on behalf of a client a salesman client in a breach of contract matter. Mr. Reich obtained a favorable binding arbitration award notwithstanding that the defendant had denied liability was denied and had not submitted a pre-arbitration settlement offer.

 

  • Negotiated a large settlement for a client in the middle of trial after presenting crucial evidence to the jury. Prior to negotiation, only a nominal settlement offer had been made before trial.
