Grant Guy Teeple is a Founder and Senior Partner of Teeple Hall, LLP. In his work at the firm, Mr. Teeple oversees the Firm’s Litigation Group and is actively involved with the Corporate & Transactional Group in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Area.
​
Prior to founding the firm in 1992, Mr. Teeple worked as a civil litigation defense attorney and has had extensive experience litigating complex, multi-jurisdictional matters with an emphasis on business litigation, intellectual property disputes, fraud cases and real property disputes and entitlement matters.
​
In his role with the Firm, Mr. Teeple is involved in key practice areas including (i) oversight and administration of the Litigation Group, (ii) intellectual property matters involving IP registration, protection and litigation, and (iii) mergers and acquisitions transactions. In the past five years Mr. Teeple has handled numerous acquisitions and sales of companies in sell-side (representing privately held and closely held businesses) and buy-side transactions (representing strategic buyers and private equity/investment firms) in transactions exceeding $100 million.

Mr. Teeple holds a B.A. in Economics and English from the University of Missouri and a J.D. from California Western School of Law.

Prosecuted business litigation matters though trial resulting in obtaining multimillion dollar jury awards, including punitive damages.

Prosecuted and defended all forms of claims brought against businesses including those for the infringement of intellectual property, unfair competition, employment, wrongful termination, PAGA actions, security and exchange civil enforcement actions, and class action matters.

Represented individuals, families and privately held companies in the sale of their businesses including software, real estate, events and manufacturing enterprises transactions.

Represented individuals and private equity firms in the acquisition of companies with an emphasis on software and technology companies.
